We are looking for a part-time orthoptist (f/m/d) for our AVWZ Ophthalmology at the Aue site as soon as possible.
The Department of Ophthalmology and its team performs more than 6,000 procedures a year, treating more than 3,000 inpatients and outpatients and around 1,700 consultant patients from other clinics in our hospital. The range of services includes Cataract operations with posterior chamber lens implantation, mainly phacoemulsification, pars plana vitrectomies, intravitreal injections, laser treatment and microsurgical operations for glaucoma, tumor diagnostics and therapy, eyelid surgery, lacrimal duct surgery, OCTs (Spectralis), OCTAs (Optovue), fluorescein angiography (Optos and HRA), laser treatments (PASCAL) and SLT/YAG laser treatments.
