Resident in acute and emergency medicine (m/f/d)

at the Helios Hanseklinikum Stralsund.

• Diagnosis and initial treatment of emergency patients
• Optimal diagnostics and implementation of immediate medical measures
• Care of all acute and emergency patients (interdisciplinary)
• Cooperation with emergency services and general practitioners
• Work in the early, intermediate and late shift as well as participation in the emergency medical services
• Participation in the weekend service of the Clinic for Acute and Emergency Medicine

• German license to practice medicine
• Additional qualification in emergency medicine desirable or willingness to acquire this
• A high sense of responsibility and reliability combined with a structured way of working
• Pronounced interest in further training in a well-founded and broad education
• Communicative and humorous manners as well as a high level of commitment and the ability to work in a team
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

• Possibility of specialist training in internal medicine including specializations in cardiology, nephrology, gastroenterology, oncology, pneumology
• Acquisition of the additional qualification "Clinical acute and emergency medicine"

The Helios Hanseklinikum Stralsund is a specialist care facility with 19 specialist departments. Around 50,000 patients are treated each year. The hospital has a total of 923 beds with several certified centers, including a Cardiac Arrest Center, Stroke Unit and Trauma Center.

The modern Central Emergency Department has two shock rooms, 13 outpatient rooms and six inpatient beds. With around 35,000 patient contacts a year, our work is sometimes stressful, exhausting, funny or bizarre, but always varied and above all with real team spirit and in any case with full commitment to our patients.
