What to expect

  • You will coordinate and manage the timely transmission of InEK data (Institute for the Remuneration System in Hospitals) from the hospitals in your region in close coordination with local and central stakeholders.
  • You will accompany and support the clinics in your region in carrying out precise InEK calculations, including the structured preparation and preparation of data in accordance with the DRG system and other specifications (e.g. calculation manual).
  • As a regional InEK expert, you act as the central contact person for the hospitals in your region as well as for interface partners at all hierarchical levels. In doing so, you will ensure that all relevant parties receive the necessary support for InEK-related issues.
  • You will actively participate in the further development of regional guidelines and methodological standards that are in line with the overarching regulatory requirements, thus contributing to ensuring consistent data quality within your region (e.g. in relation to service recording).

What you bring to the table

  • Completed university degree in business administration, business informatics or a comparable subject – ideally with a focus on controlling and ~2–4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a hospital environment.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, as well as SAP experience for sophisticated regional analyses and reporting.
  • Sound understanding of the DRG system, the KHBV principles and the InEK specifications for hospital cost calculation and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills and high accuracy in handling performance and financial data to ensure consistent and robust regional results.
  • Structured and independent way of working with high quality standards, quick comprehension and a pronounced willingness to help shape changes in the region.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly, confidently and in a solution-oriented manner - both to hospital managers and to central contact persons.
  • Legally required proof of immunization against measles
