Coding Specialist Medical Controlling (m/f/d)

We are looking for you as a full-time coding specialist in medical controlling (m/f/d) at the Dachau location as of January 1, 2026.

• Ensure timely and correct coding of hospital cases and release them to billing
• Close cooperation with billing, chief physicians and DRG doctors
• Discussions with the DRG doctors regarding the codings
• Participation in the optimization of medical service documentation and performance mapping
• Processing of cost unit inquiries and support of the complaints team in MDK inquiries.
• Support for case-by-case coding
• Moderation of the Death Conference

• Medical training with good expertise in diagnoses and procedures (nurse (m/f/d) or a medical assistant (m/f/d). Specialist (m/f/d) Training)
• Further training as a coding specialist is desirable – preferably with appropriate professional experience; alternatively, willingness to complete the training / further education as a coding specialist in a timely manner
• Ability to work together in an interdisciplinary manner, work in a structured and independent manner
