For our Clinic for Thoracic Surgery at the Krefeld location, we are looking for you as a full-time thoracic surgery specialist (m/f/d) with senior physician perspective as soon as possible.

• Work in a DKG-certified lung cancer center
• Interdisciplinary work and multi-professional exchange in a maximum care hospital
• Latest diagnostic (ION bronchoscopy) and surgical techniques (da Vinci surgical robots)
• Student training on the university campus of HMU (Health and Medical University; Campus Düsseldorf/Krefeld)

• You are a specialist in thoracic surgery (m/f/d)
• Willingness to further develop your experience and professional competence in the field of thoracic surgery
• You are motivated and responsible and have the ability to work in a committed, team- and patient-oriented practice
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Clinic for Thoracic Surgery, together with the Clinic for Pneumology, forms the Lung Center as an independent organ center in the clinic and is certified as a lung cancer center by the DKG. With the exception of transplant surgery, the Clinic for Thoracic Surgery covers the entire spectrum of modern thoracic surgery with over 500 procedures per year. Particularly noteworthy are oncological surgery including parenchyma-sparing cuff resections, septic surgery, surgery of chest wall tumors with plastic reconstruction and surgery of the mediastinum including tracheal surgery. In addition, there is emphysema surgery and, as a special feature, thoracic pediatric surgery. The chief physician has full authorization for further training in the field of thoracic surgery (72 months) as well as basic surgical training (24 months).
