Local Compliance Officer Finland/ Estonia (m/f/d)

Location: Finland (Helsinki)

  • Support local management and business organizations for Finland and Estonia strengthening a Culture of Compliance and foster ethical business conduct throughout the organization
  • Advice locally with regard to compliance requirements in order to ensure compliance awareness as well as effective management of areas of potential compliance risk
  • Understand business needs, identify Compliance related country priorities, generate projects and initiatives and collaborate closely with Compliance Department in the headquarter in Germany to provide solutions for the business
  • Adapt and implement globally provided policies, training content or other material to local needs and according to local requirements
  • Monitor, analyse and assess local business transactions, processes, structures, relations as well as external developments and perform appropriate controls that promote an effective Compliance Program
  • Provide training on compliance topics to local employees on a regular and ad hoc basis
  • Ensure regular and ad hoc information flow to all relevant Compliance Departments for a sound collaboration in between all Compliance Departments
  • Monitor regulatory developments and adapt local Compliance Programs accordingly
  • Participate proactively in relevant compliance trainings, networks and other respective activities to further professional development
  • University degree preferred in area of Law, Audit, Regulatory or similar
  • Profound experience in Compliance functions in international, multi-cultural environments
  • Proven track record in bringing organizations, processes and procedures to the next compliance level
  • Experience in handling Compliance matters such as compliance related processes, advising business and training management/staff
  • Team player with social competence
  • Analytical and systematic in thinking ability to see the big picture and work with the necessary details at the same time. Fact-based, multifunctional and open approach
  • Highly motivated, combining personal modesty with the highest professionalism for the company
  • Ability to make qualitative decisions
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Persuasive, excellent communication skills, ability to precisely articulate, express appropriately

Your profile
