Complaint Manager (m/f/d) Non-Active Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical Products - GMQS

Global Manufacturing, Quality & Supply (GMQS) is the operations division within Fresenius Medical Care, the world's leading provider of products and services for people with chronic kidney failure. Through its global network of more than 50 manufacturing sites and distribution centers, GMQS manages the procurement, production, distribution, and supply of renal and multi-organ therapy products. In about 150 countries, patients and customers depend on GMQS to manufacture and deliver a full range of products used in renal treatments as well as heart and lung therapies.

As Complaint Manager (m/f/d) Non-Active Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical Products you will be a member of the complaint management team of approximately ten. You will be responsible for intake, process and management of incoming devices complaints in collaboration with internal related departments.

  • Evaluate and categorize incoming complaints based on severity and criticality and allocate to complaint investigation units
  • Review incoming complaints and gather missing information from internal country complaints administrators if necessary
  • Follow up complaints investigations and classify into process relevant categories
  • Cooperate with and support safety officers in case information is requested by competent authorities for complaints processing
  • Collaborate with product center managers and provide information for the maintenance of risk management files
  • Participate in ongoing projects as requested
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, natural sciences or similar
  • You will have gained experience in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry, with experience in quality management
  • You can exhibit knowledge of risk management and regulations in related industry
  • You are familiar with production processes of medical devices and or pharmaceutical products
  • You enjoy maintaining good and professional relationship and communication with colleagues, superiors and to internal and external stakeholders
  • You can handle complex situations in a diplomatic and confident manner
  • It will be an asset if you have technical knowledge in workflow-based quality management systems (e.g., TrackWise)
  • Your high language proficiency in English (oral and written) goes without saying
