Assistant Project Management Office (m/f/d) (limited)

  • Support Program/Project managers in maintaining project plans up to date and perform changes as requested
  • Work with the PMO Lead to perform and improve all administrative program management activities, report project deliverables, time plan vs actual, and prepare analyses for the Program Management
  • Support the projects with booking, reporting and correcting time booked
  • Manage and maintain the Risk and Issue log, administrate Scope Management through the Change Management process
  • Review information received from Team Leads and compile the documentation of Program Management Status meetings; prepare Program/Project Steering Meetings and manage/track the escalation/resolution of topics/decisions
  • Periodically review Program/Project-wide approaches, plans, policies and procedures under the direction of PMO Lead and Program/Project Management and follow the adherence by the teams of the Program/Project methodology, templates and standards
  • Participate in the program communications, both internal and external, participate and manage the process of creating newsletters and ensure that intranet websites are kept up to date
  • Supervision of interns and train students working for the PMO as well as managing the junior rotation program, under guidance of the PMO Lead
  • Manage the onboarding and off-boarding process for the department´s resources
  • Successfully completed Bachelor's degree in Economics, International Business or IT, a Master's degree is a plus
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar function with at least 2 years working within a PMO of a large ERP package implementation, preferably SAP, and/or of a portfolio of projects
  • Project Management background; PMI or PRINCE certification is a plus.
  • Fluent in using project management tools (MS Project Server), MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and SharePoint, first experience with Planview is a plus
  • Strong change management and communication skills
  • Good administration and coordination skills
  • Fluent English and German language skills written and spoken
  • Conduct independent, result oriented and confident communication in an international working environment
  • Ability to work in an international program/project team

Your assignments

Your profile
